Timesight Systems has developed the first NVR solution that automates the practice of video lifecycle management to address the need for higher video image resolution and longer retention times. This is achieved using their innovative Video Lifecycle Management (VLM) technique, which allows rules to be created to re-compress video over time using dynamic H.264 compression to allow for more storage. This enables video to be stored at maximum resolution and frame rate and then be gradually re-compressed as time passes and the video becomes less valuable.
It is now possible to store months of video on days of storage without breaking the bank. Timesight allows you to get the high resolution and retention you require in a single appliance.
