Switchvox Training at ABP
ABP conducted our first Switchvox training class on April 2nd and 3rd. We started the class with a quick overview of VoIP fundamentals and an introduction to SIP. By the end of the first day we had our Switchvox IP PBX up and running, phones registered and making calls, software upgraded and system backed up. The second day consisted of creating time of day routing, auto-attendants, IVR trees, ACDs, and advanced features. The students left with a working system, ready to deploy at the customer’s location, and confident with their ability to design, install, and configure the Switchvox to meet the customer’s most demanding needs.
The students were experienced Nortel and Avaya veterans and some of their comments included “The proprietary systems we sell cost almost twice the price and do have as much as what the Switchvox IP PBX can do”. Clearly, open standards solutions like Swithvox SMB will compete head to head with anything out there.
At ABP we are experts at what you really need to know to successfully sell and deploy open standards VoIP solutions. If you have attened Vendor provided classes in the past you know 80% of what is covered has little to do with the real world and will probably be obsolete in a few months. In addition, the classes are typically to long, cover to much information, and are typically conducted in hotel conference rooms packed with to many students.
At ABP we keep our classes small and focus on your individual needs. We have a professional class room with overhead projectors, a full demo room right next door with every IP phone and device we sell working and available to our students to play with, and experienced technical training professionals with over 20 years experience in voice and data communications.
