One Year Anniversary Selling IP Connectivity and SIP Trunks

In September it will be  a year ABP Technology started  helping resellers  complement their equipment sales with  IP connectivity (T1s, Wireless Internet Access, MPLS and DSLs)  and SIP trunks.

We started the IP Services  initiative right after IP Sizzles  2007 to help  our reseller partners  offer a more complete solution by including services. Today we have over 60 resllers that are selling IP Services and are beginning to make a valuable  contribution to their bottom line with IP Services income from Connectivity and SIP Trunks.

We have found that the resellers that have embraced IP Services are growing faster and are more successful selling solutions as well as getting more follow-up add-on business. IP Services when sold by an equipment partner can create a tighter professional relationship and opens the door for maintenance service contracts. Another regular revenue stream that helps the reseller consolidate  his business.  We also noticed that it is important that the VAR be able to  show some   savings from using VoIP services as well as understand how to create a blended phone package including a mix of conventional  phone lines with low cost out-bound SIP trunks for LD and to limit the total number of lines customers need by using SIP Trunks for peaks.  VARs that sell IP Services can explain the concept of a hybrid environment much better.  Many  VARS now are  able to upgrade their customers to a  redundant and gaster Internet access solution with the savings from the phone lines they can help eliminate. Dollar wise at the end it may be a wash but today every customer wants more speed and absolutely cherishes a Zero Outage / Never down Internet solution.

ABP resellers using ABP IP Services for  their projects  will get  timely and competitive quotes. Very important is also the fact  that our  IP services  have  been  pre-tested and we pre-negotiated  special conditions through ABP for ABP Technology Reseller partners. If you have not started selling IP Services get a quote for your next project.
