ABP grows Service Provider Services to over 3,000 Units processed a month

Combining our proven streamlined inline processes and new logisitical facilities have helped ABP grow our Service Provider Services group to a whole new dimension.

We now have almost three years of experience perfecting our provisioning and pre-configuration processes. By building and refining very unique processes, ABP includes handshake protocols for secure order reception, processes for providing both service provider and the end-user with acurate and timely tracking information. Our quality control process includes physical, logical and even accoustic test calls. Many service providers take advantage of ABP’s ability to customize packaging, private label/logo, insert client specific literature and specially pack each transaction.

ABP’s new warehouse and processing areas were designed specifically to help us expedite the drop ship and bulk provisioning orders. This month we processesed over 3,000 invidual units and felt this was just a sample run and that our new facility could handle 10 times as much.

Today we are fulfilling a wide array of CPE equipment for Service Providers in both the residential and business sectors. We handle pre-configured ATAs and IP Phones, wireless IP phones as well as small IP-PBXs and intrastructure equipment like POE switches, QOS devices and even headsets.

Service providers should and can focus on growing their business without having to spend energy on the physical handling of goods. They should not worrying about elaborate and costly processes, training people, investing in any infrastructure or adding supervision and overheads for the necessary redundancies. THis list and other requirements are hard to justify without significant volume. Then when the volume does start growing it is even more importatnt to stay focused on the growth of the subscriber base not the provisioning that ABP performs. In general our customers receive an immediate benefit from our economy of scale and from ABP’s multi year experience curve doing deliveries all over the nation and even internationaly.

Last but not least ABP also eases and resolves one of the most costly and time consuming aspects for service providers; the always feared RMAs. While the service provider maintains full control and customer touch of the RMA process when required, all the handling gets done by ABP.
